Wanxiang Group Corporation, a leading Chinese multinational conglomerate headquartered in Zhejiang Province, embarked on an ambitious vision to transform a vast tract of land into a dynamic mixed‑use city. The master plan encompasses an impressive 11,472,000 square feet of space, thoughtfully integrating commercial offices, low‑, mid‑, and high‑rise residential developments, retail destinations, and world‑class hotels. Leveraging advanced computational design, Grasshopper was used to conduct optimized Floor Area Ratio (FAR) studies. Incorporating design principles rooted in Feng Shui (风水), the plan not only maximizes spatial performance but also embodies China’s cultural resonance, creating a cityscape that balances innovation with tradition. |
